Purina Veterinary Diets® Lite Snackers® Canine Treats are exceptionally palatable, low calorie snacks that can be used as part of the complete Purina® Obesity Management Program or as a healthy treat with any diet.
Diet Characteristics
Purina Veterinary Diets® Lite Snackers® Canine Treats have been formulated to achieve the following characteristics:

Medical Indications
Treats with these nutritional modifications are recommended for the following:
- Dogs on a weight loss program
- Dogs on OM Overweight Management®, JM Joint Mobility®,
or DCO Diabetes COlitis® canine formulas
- Normal healthy dogs on a maintenance diet
- Dogs with certain fiber responsive conditions such as constipation or colitis

Feeding and Administration
The caloric intake from biscuits should not exceed 10% of a dog’s total daily caloric requirement. If treats are given, the amount of food should be reduced. For example, if the daily feeding recommendation for a dog is approximately 550 Kcals, the dog can have either 2 cups of OM Overweight Management Formula dry diet and no treats, or 1 3/4 cups OM Overweight Management Formula dry diet plus 2 Lite Snackers® brand Canine Treats daily.
